ABOUT US

A real country experience.

Westers1.jpg

In l976 the Wester Jersey Farm began with a family cow named Dumplins. As our family grew to 5 children our herd grew into a business numbering over 100 dairy cows plus young stock. Since dairy cows take much attention we found ourselves unable to leave the farm.  We started inviting folks in for breakfast to enjoy much-needed fellowship.  It was then Farmer Al decided to start a Bed & Breakfast, which was a natural outcome of our belief that farming is a noble venture and our modern society is more and more isolated from its food source.

In 2005 the cottages were built housing 5 guests in each. In 2010 we sold our farm and built a new home housing 2 suits increasing capacity up to 16 guests.

The cow is no longer on the sign out front but is safely on the front porch.

Credit Card use will be available soon. Any questions? Please call: 814-573-7271

We invite you to join us for a night or an extended period of time year-round!

Emmett the border collie does her job at Wester B and B Farm, Jamestown Pa., in herding some of the cows into the milking parlor. We see the set up as 5 cows per side enter the row and are assisted by Al, Betty, and others.
